Welcome Statement

Bethany Lutheran is a welcoming community to all who enter our doors. We are a Reconciling-in-Christ congregation. We welcome the participation of people of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations and gender identities, education backgrounds, economic conditions, and mental or physical abilities--all who want to join in community to honor God and be of service to people. When Christ claims a person in baptism, the promises are not conditional. Bethany offers this assurance to all who wish to be part of our community: 

“You are no longer strangers or aliens, but fellow citizens and members of God’s Household.”
(Eph. 2:19)
