ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF AUGUST 16

AUGUST BAND: Lost and Found; Leader: Fran Griffin  **Fellowship is intended to be a simple and easy way to spend time together. The snacks you provide may be as simple or as elaborate as you wish. Whatever you are able to share is appreciated. You are always welcome to contribute to fellowship time, even if it is not your designated band's month.

FRUIT NEEDED! This year we will be handing out fruit instead of candy during the Ox Cart Days Parade. If you could donate whole apples, bananas, and oranges/ clementines, please bring them to the church this week (August 16 – 23).

BLESSING OF THE BACKPACKS will be during the worship service August 30th. Celebrate the beginning of the new school year and let us pray over your backpacks, totes, or laptop bags!

WE HAD A GREAT NIGHT AT VBS! Twenty-three kids joined us for lots of games, fun, and learning about being on Team Jesus. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a fun night for all the kids!

OX CART DAYS KICKS OFF THIS WEEK!  Friday, August 21, 5:30 to 8:30pm – Pie & Ice Cream Social (Sign up sheet is now available!); Sunday, August 23– Pancake Breakfast from 8:00 to 11:00am, Worship at the Ballpark at 9:00am, and Grand Parade at 2:00pm.

A MEAL TRAIN FOR THE HEPHNERS has been set up. If you would like to provide a meal, please use the QR code on the sign-up board or contact the church office.

OFFICE HOURS: Jen will be in the office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday the weeks of August 16 and 23.
