ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF AUGUST 10

AUGUST BAND – Lost and Found; Leader: Fran Griffin   **Please keep in mind that fellowship is meant to be a simple, easy act of sharing time together. Snacks provided are welcome to also be simple and easy.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR ONE MORE CONFIRMATION TEACHER for classes starting this fall. There is a scripted curriculm to use, so there’s no need to spend a lot of time planning.  The commitment is approximately one Sunday per month. Please see Jen Buckley if you have questions or would like to volunteer.

OX CART DAYS IS THIS WEEK! The Pie & Ice Cream Social will be Friday, August 15th from 5:30 to 8:30pm. Pies and volunteers are still needed, so pease sign up in the narthex. The MOB Pancake Breakfast will be Sunday, August 17th from 8am to 11am.  At 9am, Bethany will have an outdoor worship service featuring Breaking Chains. We will have a spot in the parade on Sunday; please donate candy for the float and leave it in the kitchen. A swim party will be hosted by the Jamesons following the parade.  If you have any questions about Ox Cart Days activities, contact the church office.

PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING SUPPLIES FOR OUR NURSERY.  Disinfectant wipes, sensitive baby wipes, and facial tissues are all needed and may be placed under the sink in the nursery.
